Having started my working life in London with Warner & Sons Furnishing Fabrics and with a varied career in interiors, visual merchandising and marketing I have over 30 years experience in the world of design and creative display.
Now living a village life in the heart of the Chilterns Hills a mother to two teenage sons and the hapless owner of a dog who thinks he’s a teenager….I still love the chance to learn new skills, meet new people and discover a whole host of new interests.
Hence the idea of ‘Studio Portobello’; a place to have fun, create, share ideas, learn something new and all within a comfortable and welcoming environment.
The Studio is a large, light, and airy space perfect for workshops and demonstrations. The courses on offer are all led by talented and often award winning craftspeople with a real delight in their subject.
The workshops are very relaxed with coffee and pastries on arrival and everything on hand to ensure maximum enjoyment on the day. The Studio is open plan with step free access and there is plenty of parking.
Full instructions and unless notified, all materials, will be provided. All participants will receive a goody bag in addition to taking home what they have made on the day.
I continue to undertake private design and styling commissions and can happily provide advice as required.
